It seems EA's FIFA will be this years best football game by being better then Konami's PES ! I might buy the both of them :-] Which one do you favour?

I think, according to what I have read :

FIFA08 > PES08

but

FIFA09 = PES09

the match seems very close...

Whatever, I m pretty sure people will still support PES over FIFIA on console.

Wait for the demo of PES 2009 first before judging, I played FIFA 09, not convinced it is going to be better than PES, the gameplay just is not as smooth

From what I have heard FIFA is the more realistic simulation game, and pes will be the more dynamic game.

I dont know, Fifa was good, but PES 09 might be better, just have 2 wait and see

for me it was FIFA08 > PES2008
as long as there are no significantly improvements it will be FIFA09 > PES2009

fifa owns so fifa09> PES09

FIFA 2008 was a good effort (and much better than some editions of FIFA which sucked), but PES was still better, even with a version that wasn't as good as it could have been. If Konami makes some needed changes to the game, PES will still be better this year, except that EA makes a football revolution (like for example removing the balloon physics for the ball)

i have not really been keeping track of these games this year to be honest, but pes usually looks more realistic with better graphics and what not but like i said i have not seen this years versions.

I don't know, but PES08 Wii was about 1986 times better than Fifa08 Wii. It's also far superior to the 360 version, which I thought was a pretty weak efford. It's not often you see the Wii version of a multi-console release be the most polished one.
