Lem_Nex's quote about DBZ has me laughing so hard, I'm crying!

4 more minutes! Lmao!!

This inevitably brings up the question. What's gonna happen to future generations? Just being in the same room as some of these cartoons costs me some serious IQ, I wonder how it affect the under-developed minds of children.

I miss the old toonami....the good old days. Like most of you it got me into anime.

Anyone remember that show about the different samurai warriors that had a unique elemental power and they could fuse? If you know it could you tell me the name please.

Toonami was my gate-way to Japanese animation and manga. Rest well, my friend!

Speaking of which... AdultSwim pulled the plug on Satuday night anime in exchange for 12Oz Mouse. Hah. >.>
Adult Swim makes more money from the horrible ratings of their in-house $#17 (I like Metalocalypse, Boondocks, and Venture Brothers, though) than they do with good ratings on anime. When it costs $1.82 to pay for the Bic pens to make the show it makes profit off of 1 viewer.

I just think CN and all its various parts have gone down the crapper.

Frieza: The planet will EXPLODE in 5 MINUTES!
Goku: WHHHHHHAAAATTTT?!?!?!
(20 episodes later)
Frieza: FOUR MORE MINUTES!
Goku: WHHHHAATTT?!?!?!

Great memories.

LMAO so true, that planet took like a year to blow up after a prediction of 5 minutes!!

But rest in peace Toonami. Its the reason why I love anime today, DBZ, outlaw star, cow boy bebop (can't remember if thats toonami or not) and gundam wing. That channel was a total win and one of the reasons I came home from school excited!

All I can say now is thank god for the internet and fansubs!!!!

it was the original Toonami(2000-ish) that got me hooked on Anime. there was Dragonball, Sailor Moon (go ahead and laugh), Tenchi, Outlaw star, and others. but nowadays it sucks.

And here I thought I was the only one that mised Toonami. They never did finish Dragon Ball Z or did they?

This.

btw WTF is up with saturday morning cartoons today, it seems like they aren't even on anymore.  I remember getting up at like 8 or 9 and watching cartoons like Dino-Riders and Thundercats, then eventually noon would roll around and I'd be treated to some old b-rated movie or somesuch that wasn't too bad.  Now its just jusge shows and infomercials all morning...ugh
