When do you think if ever they will have time to Update the Worldwide Hardware Shipment Page? The last Date you can choose on it is March 2007 for LTD and Fiscal. Thanks in Advance!

The problem is that now Sony list shipped to retailers I think, rather than shipped from warehouses (or maybe just produced) I am not 100% sure, but I think that is the issue
The problem is Sony and Microsoft no longer provide shipped figures for the 3 main territories, just a combined shipment figure.
It caused the chart to grind to a halt.

Viper1 is correct. Not only that but Munkeh is backwards, but generally correct.
Sony changed from shipped to retailers to shipped to warehouses. So comparing Sony shipped to Microsoft/Nintendo shipped is not really fair nor accurate.

You mean Sony went from Production shipments to retail shipments.

No, I mean what I said. Sony, Nintendo, and Microsoft use to only provide # for shipped to retailers.
Sony however, switched their method to make it look like they had shipped more. This was done by now counting shipped to warehouses, since they could be sitting in their for a month before going to retail.

You got it backwards...used to be production shipment and it's now shipped to retailers.

What Fila said.
At the beginning of Fiscal Year 2008 (April 1st, 2007), Sony began using the industry standard method of reporting units as sold to retail. Prior to that date they provided manufactured units. Key point is this is also when they stopped providing territorial breakdowns for those sales.
