A 3 min ad would have cost an arm and a leg during any programme, let alone a match between Chelsea and Man U (I assume that's what you meant by Utd).

obviously....the last FIFA did better on PS3 than 360 last year...n that was when even in EU the 360 install base was double PS3's

The PS3 is more likely to shift this game than 360 so it makes sense for them to favour Sony in this region. Besides, I suspect Sony probably paid most if not all of the costs as arguably they need the link between the two more. I guess its no different than when 360 seems to appear as the main console for other titles.
Try to be reasonable... its easier than you think...
