You arent reading his post thouroughly. He tried to buy something less then 20 dollars with a 20 dollar coupon. They said that he had to have more than 20 dollars worth of merchandise to use the coupon (if even only 21 dollars total) and he threw a fit and left.
Im with the previous poster that said this is normal procedure. I dont through a hissy fit when Papa Johns says they wont deliver to me if I have less than 10 dollars worth of food. Its just standard.
Also of course Amazon is in stock, they have a single warehouse for all its outlets (the internet) so that single place you go to look has far more units available to it than an individual brick and mortar establishment, even one as big as Best Buy.
Also, sure Amazon has it, but I have heard just as many stories of them shipping it late, it being lost in transit or takeing a week to 2 weeks to arrive as I have heard its better than going to a store. You win some, you loose some.
I own all three current consoles and a great gaming rig, now thats out of the way.

"is it Wii FIt that has sold as many as PS3's sold? Thats a LOL Look at the total sales of software is it just me that sees Nintendo titles hitting 10m+ and you say they arent making a difference? Another LOL!"
"Hell, with all the negative hype Sony spin, people just aren't interested cost is too high and to get the true HD experience (1080p, 7.1 surround) you will need a $1000+ system. THAT IS GOING TO DO IT IN A RECESSION! PS4 will not happen"
I don't get it, what did Best Buy do wrong?

I see nothing wrong here...
Best Buy sucks for other reasons, but 19.99 is not 20 dollars, and games sell out sometimes...there are tons of other stores to walk to...

LEFT4DEAD411.COM
Bet with disolitude: Left4Dead will have a higher Metacritic rating than Project Origin, 3 months after the second game's release. (hasn't been 3 months but it looks like I won :-p )
with amazon they take alot of time to deliver the goods but they get here.

They did not bend over backwards to make him feel special...that would be my guess.

Why would that be? The best buy near my home has some of the worst customer service ever. I had to fight a employee to grab Tales of Vesperia from the stock room, he told me they didn't have it. So I went home, ordered it online, did in store pick up, and they just happened to have it ready. |
Target and Best Buy are very big to us. We sort of own them.

I won't argue with you on Target, but here in Stearns County, Walmart is king. Best buy isn't so bad though; I did get a LoZ:WW guide for a penny, so that was good.

I didn;t through a fit. I asked her if she could raise the price $0.01, and she said no. I looked at the gum and it was $1.09. I don't like gum anyway. The candy I like was 4X overpriced for some reason, so I left, knowing I could buy it online for less. I went to best buy in the first place instead of online so I could use the coupon. I wasn't asking for a tax deduction, I was just asking that they would take my coupon. And is refusing to pay $0.01 in tax worth the risk of losing a customer?
