Regarding the PS4 release: no shit Sony has something planned. Every console manufacturer start planning their next gen console right after they finish the current gen one. It's been 2 years since the PS3's out, they definitely have at least a plan by now.

And also no shit Sony wouldn't say anything. Has MS or Nintendo mentioned a next gen release date? They wanna keep consumer attention on this gen.

Let's forget about the 10 years plan. Sony failed this gen and they know that so they'll probably release PS4 around christmas 2011 hoping everybody forget about the mistake that was PS3.

I think hes cutting it short on both consoles this is going to be a long gen 2012 earliest, 2015 sounds about right. there is no reason to do it early, the console wars would have to be incerdbly lopsided in software sales, and hardware for the 2 would need at leat a 30 million unit split to justify that, i dont see it happening
