"Fanboy" is so un-PC as a term, from now on I'll use the term "Fanperson", it's much less sexist.

Anyway, OT, I don't think many PS360 fans can get along. It's like someone who supports both Maclaren and Ferrari in F1, both Man United and Liverpool, or both the Cowboys and Dolphins.

The only fans who I think can get along are those that love gaming as a whole, or to use my tired analogy those who like sports for the sport, not any team in particular, and those people are generally hard to find - especially in this game.

Dude, you own a console we Nintendo fans call a "wtfever" console. It's inconsequential. Nobody will give a damn about that console in 30 years. You see, it's impossible to insult us. You get dominated and laughed at every-week. You think we say "Nintendomination" to state a fact, or to piss you off?

As a Nintendo fan, I've been far more pissed off at 360 flamers than Wii haters. Simply because with the Wii, there is nothing to prove. It won. Everyone else lost. It won, will win, and is winning in every category except possibly the category of "opinions of people who own wtfever consoles instead of Wii."

There is no example to show how insignificant your opinion could possibly be to any Nintendo fanboy. It's like a Gamecube fan trying to flame the PS2....it's like a kid makes fun of you in class, even though you harshly kick his ass every day after school. When he laughs, you're just thinking, "Ah well, I feel sorry for the poor guy. He's gonna take a hell of an asswhooping next time."

Our next time is everyday a sales figure is released, which is...everyday.

I agree with SSJ12 also. Nintendo fans are getting sick of having to round you guys up every week when it's beating time. Sticking together would save us a lot of needless repetition.

I think this site "breeds" fanboys. Lets everyone else get back to enjoying our console of choice. : )

Much of the problem comes from an overwhelming sense amongst certain Sony fans and the company they support that they are in some way entitled to success.

Success in previous generations does not grant you immunity to failures in subsequent generations, and nor should it. Nintendo learned this with the N64.

Unfortunately, having been schooled by Nintendo, those fans that I mentioned seem to be so hung up on "beating" someone that they have made the Xbox 360 the bane of their existence.

QFT, it's really stupid... the gaming world is what it is, have some fun for God's sake... why not worry about playing games then beating someone in a argument. 

It's like a lot of discussions are started about ideas for consoles or good topics about how a game could be better on ____ console and everyone has to harp on "that's our game cause for the last gen it was ours" acting like last gen has anything to do with this gen... last gen is over... the PS2 is on its last leg... and with it will go that gen.  

I think we should all get along to get over this hate and stupidity, so we won't have topics like this, or people hating on someone else for having an opinion or imagination... it gets really frustrating seeing Soriku getting ganged up on for having good ideas and opinions, then the guys that go against him are so hypocitical cause they spout how they hate his ideas cause Wii is underpowered when they supported the underpowered system last gen...   but if everyone would get along then we could have a nice discussion without it turning into a bloodbath of fighting cause people don't want to back down.

Last gen Nintendo fanboys were the little girls, and now it's the Sony fanboys. Literally...the loyalists have some problems dude. They have grown to have a emotional attachment to the companies, when the companies don't give a damn about anything but their money. I can seriously say, that Sony fanboys have less logical arguments than the Nintendo fanboys did last gen.

1) Nintendo fanboys didn't put up desperate threads wondering how if price cuts were going to make their system sell more.

2) Nintendo fanboys backed their arguments up with historical facts.

3) Most Nintendo fanboys knew when to expand their horizons and stop closing themselves to one system last gen once the PS2 dropped price.

Sony fanboys are in shock that the great corporate system that they back, has met its match (As far as business is concerned) with a company that has proven this gen, that they are in this for the long haul (Despite last gens piece of shit).

I'll join this club. Because while I respect Nintendo and Sony a lot more as companies than MS and would have avoided the 360 at all cost, the Wii is just not my cup of tea this generation. I need my jRPGs that are exclusive on 360 this gen, so I had to get one.

Xbox brand = great as a competitor, but would be horrible as a monopoly.

This!  All the whining and fighting this gen has been a real headache.  Though even last gen I've got to say I would be pounced on for supporting both PS2 and GC... just cause Sony fanboys hated Nintendo that much... they couldn't accept Nintendo could make some great games.  I would make threads about how both consoles were great and GC had some great games, I would be ignored for my Sony support and ganged up on for saying Nintendo had great games as well...
