Forums - General - Americas economy failing, is it karma?

America had been starting wars on countries which are more or less harmless too them. they have been killing innocent people and have been trying to take over the world.

America is the modden hitler in my opinion. they are bulling nations saying weapons of mass destruction which they have not even found. i am sorry but if america's leaders wants to go around bulling countries then they deserve to get nuked.

Plus if iraq want to blow each other up or whatever country it is then let them, why even get involved, i think iraq was better off before ameria raged war on them and i am sure many of you will agree, and the british leaders are just as stupid aswell, for going along with this.

about the englsih leader saying the ends justifies the means. that is wrong and noone shoudl start war for petty reasons. trying to stop violence by being even more violent does not work in my opinon, what are the upcominggeneration going to think having leaders behaving like this.

if they want to rage war on each other then put the fucking leaders in one room and let them duke it out, dont make peopole who dont care nor want anything to do with it suffer.

So back to the title, do you think americas economy is afiling because of all the shit they have done, and england to. do you think it is Karma? i do

when i say americans i mean the american president and other various leaders, same goes for england to.

I know you didn't mean it this way, cause you're an alright bloke, but this could very easily be interpreted as saying that Americans deserve whatever hardships they are forced to endure.

Thats not fair at all, and not true I don't think.

starcraft - Playing Games = FUN, Talking about Games = SERIOUS

I don't believe in karma. And if it existed I would hope it would be just and fair enough to know the difference between the country's leaders and its people. The leaders start the wars, the people are the ones that suffer from a poor economy. I truly doubt GW is hurting from the downspike.

...

I dont mean america deserves its hardship i would not wish it on anyone, i am just saying do you think it is karma.

i feel sorry for the country and my country too as it is heading down the same route

i have already stated in my OP that when i say america, Americans britsh britain whatever, i mean the leaders, the peple of the country have no say in the matter so it is not there fault, it is th eleaders who deserve the punishment but the country suffers instead

Sounds harsh, but I suppose your right about not getting involved with others problems.

America is like the modern day version of both Rome and Britain. It will eventually join them in the history books as superpowers who have risen to power and fallen away.

Wow. Just wow.

I wasn't going to respond, but I figured it's best not to let others believe how full of it your post is.

The American economy is in the position it's in because the credit institutions in this country lent money to a lot of people who couldn't pay it back. This started a domino effect.

Once the people started defaulting on their loans, these banks started to lose a lot of money. Once they started losing this money, the confidence in these institutions decreased dramatically, so the people who had their money there moved it elsewhere. One of these places was oil, which contributed greatly to the run up in price, but that's a story for another time.

Anyway, this lack of confidence led people who would've otherwise kept or placed their money there to not do so. These institutions didn't have enough capital to "pay the bills" per se, so they went under.

This isn't karma, this was caused by really bad business decisions. It would've unfolded the same if we had an isolationist foreign policy.

The only argument you can make relating FP to this current situation is the fact that if we didn't spend so much on the war, we'd have more bailout money.

Edited for kindness

Please keep your misinformed editorials off of this website. Thanks.

History has a strange way of repeating itself. 2000's is very similar to the 1920's. October 1929 credit crunch leading to crash in stockmarkets triggering The Great Depression. Great Depression 1929 to 1933.

Second Great Depression?? 2009 to 2013???

BTW: In regards to Iraq War it is just another Vietnam War. Unwinnable War. The enemy are hiding underground in bunkers and rocks and have munitions to fight for years and years. Vietnam had an extremely complex system of underground tunnels where the enemy hid away from the Americans.

America is wasting lots and lots of money on wars it can not realistically win. wars are draining the American economy and causing widespread outrage amongst the American people.
