Today after 4 pacific time, whenever I went to this site with safari THe page would load all the way and after a couple of seconds i turns black. I tried it on firefox, internet explorer, opera, and chrome and they all work fine other than safari.

Also I noticed alo more adds recently especialy from amazon.  

Just dusted off my Safari and loaded up this site. It's running unusually slow, but I'm not seeing the problem you're reporting.

I had the same problem. The page would load slowly, disproportional, and then disappear to black. It's working nicely now.

how did you fix it

It just started working again. I'm not really sure how. The problem was happening for about 2 hours.

While it was happening, I tried clicking on an article before it went black, but after the page loaded for a few seconds, it also turned black.

I'm assuming yours is fixed. I wasn't able to comment on the site when it wasn't working.

i cant see with safari at the moment fired up firefox. i thought it might just be my browser though safari can be funny like that

I had a similar problem. Talonman and I think it is kinks with the new ads. Hopefully they'll be worked out soon.

Screen went black on me like four times, think it said something like fanfiction.net or something on the page o.o, sometimes though screen does go black on part of the front page then takes some time to load.

Also, even tho I don't visit that many webpages, this webpage loads the slowest and I see ads loading on the bottom bar of my firefox like crazy...
