Sorry, it's split into two images on the site and I'm too lazy to photoshop them together.

The water looks pretty crappy, but I never played Monster Hunter for the graphics. The gameplay stands out on it's own. Looking good is only a mild distraction. I actually rather don't care about the look of the scenery, the actual Monsters are what look awesome. The animation and fluidity of them are so full of win.

Compared to the PSP it looks better, but it should anyway, Consoles are stronger than Handhelds

Yeah, the water doesn't have any specular highlighting or reflective/transparancy effects.  WaveRace 64 had better water.  However, the rest looks very good.

The water looks fine, quit whining.

Personally I'd love it they just released the game now and gave me the complete game later I really don't care.

As for the water, the developers said they are only 33% done with the game and that polish is ahead, so obviously someone is confused or reaching.

Monster Hunter 3 is scheduled to be released next summer in Japan.

What? You can't get a broader audience than the PS2!

And it is pay to play like Monster Hunter G? And this also confirms it isn't releases til Winter 2009.
