Level 5 isn't known for being great story-writers, and the commentary about the story being "orthodox" doesn't help much. Hope you prove me wrong, Level-5. |
The real problem is that the previous games had underdeveloped characters. I think the quality of the story will depend more on the character interactions than on the main plot. The reason why they are making the story "orthodox" is because they are afraid of making a potentally game-ruining plot twist because some of you guys would complain about it(same thing that happened with Star Ocean 3's plot twist)

Please tell me your talking about a PS3 version cuz if so I will import the game in a heartbeat.

That's in the first part of the Interview -_-
| Soriku said: @Deotox I didn't bother reading that because it sounded stupid with all the "lols" and such :P |
I know putting lol in is kind of immature but it was just to represent the laughing.
Anyway this is awesoem news plus Level 5 will be holding a conference title ' LVL 5 Vision 2008' on 26th of September,
we can be looking forward to more WKC announcement by then and then there'll be even more info at TGS. I can't wait I hope a American release date gets set soon.
yup and 1st week jan is the "holiday week" in japan....so its all timed perfectly

I'm sure their Prof. Layton series has helped as well. The first is only a thousand shy of breaking the million barrier in Japan.
Wow, this game sounds like its going to be awesome. Thing's never been done in an rpg before? Not just a good storyline but other aspects of the game to care about, sign me up.
