Does anyone else find it ironic that "Life with Playstation" has been delayed?

The update's gone live now, just fire up F@H.

I haven't tried it yet, and while I agree that it is pretty much useless, I'm still happy that they are running F@H with it. That way we can all see it as an expantion of F@H, meaning your PS3 wont be totally useless while running it anymore :D

Having this stuff coupled with Folding@Home is awesome, and way cooler than the Wii gimmicks. If there was Folding @ Home on Wii, I would *definately* keep my Wii on at all times. Heck, it can probably fold as many proteins as my PS3 -- per watt, of course -- and yep, that's important when you've got the console on all day long.

Yeah, LWP is the new name for F@H. It's basically just updated with real time clouds and Google news. Nothing major, but nice additions. Just a nice screen saver to have whilst listening to music and doing some good by folding at the same time.

Well I guess its a start. This could really become somthing of use if it continues to grow over time. Hopfully Sony will continue to make this program more accessable and personalizable. If you could set up for a feed for your home town, and be able to check in on 15 day forcasts and traffic conditions I could see my self checking this out at night before I head off to work. For now at least it is another great value point for the PS3.
