Late last week Nihon Securities Journal set out a notice regarding "Nintendo Conference Autumn 2008". The event will be held on October 2nd, and according to NSJ, Nintendo will be announcing "new products". While Nintendo traditionally does not attend the Tokyo Game Show, an early October event would certainly help the company from getting lost in the shuffle.

I wanna see punch out! announced. N chibi robo Wii. N PIKMIN 3 ANNOUNCED PROPERLY. n A PROPER POKEMON rpg! A mr. game and watch game would be good too. N i wanna hear something about Wii motor sport. N kid icarus. Think i might be being a bit too greedy though!

Oh and Kirby wii would be good too.

To be honest I expect to see Pikmin3 unvieled because Shigeru already told us all about it. However I don't think Nintendo will unviel anything too heavy at the conferance.

I personally hope to see Pikmin3 and maybe the new Donkey Kong, of course Kid Icarus is also a possibility. I'm guessing Nintendo will unviel their Q1 2009 titles at the conferance!

@JoelCool7: But Shiggy didn't go to the conference intending to announce it--he only mentioned it once he was endlessly badgered about the lack of core games.

Still, they may have put it on the fast-track after that...

In my eyes, here's what will go down in regards to software:

Definite:
-Animal Crossing
-Disaster
-Some third-party games
-New Retro studios project
-One big unannounced IP

Likely (But only one or two of these):
-Teaser for Zelda
-Teaser for new Mario
-Demo for Pikmin
-One more new IP

Possible:
-Kirby Wii
-Star Fox
-Kid Icarus
-Factor 5's Wii game
-Something from Konami
-Something from Square

So it means Ninty will doing this every year arent they?

Well, I am excited, however, don't get too excited guys. It seems like everyone is getting ready for a huge blowout of games announced. But remember what happened at E3.

For sure, they will focus A LOT on Wii Music as that is there mission for the Holiday Season. Of Course Wii Sports 2 and Animal Crossing will also show their faces.

But if they announce anything, it will probably be one or two things. I am thinking Pikmin 3 with screens and video hopefully, and maybe announcement of Kid Icarus. And wishful thinking is of course Zelda, Golden Sun 3 (very wishful thinking I know) and Star Fox you know, but we'll see. Just don't get your hopes up, because you never know, Nintendo could just announce: Wii Cook or something. XD

I don't know what to expect, but I would absolutely love a Star Fox Wii for Q1/Q2 2009. I'd be overjoyed. Since they did say they'd be showing new titles, I'm expecting to see something, but it still might not be a big deal. Let's just keep our fingers crossed for the best, eh?

I still not make my hopes up even the conference was confirmed, I will wait for further updates.

I still dont believe KH3 and Kid Icarus will be announced soon...
