didn't they have one last year in which they announced monster hunter 3 for the wii?... if this is true i wonder if they will have a similar kind of announcement

@Soriku: I like to exaggerate a bit, though I'm inclined to the pessimistic side of things this gen with devs when it comes to the Wii. Things can change though :P

I suspect the conference will detail forthcoming games and strategies that we've already snuck a peek at via various internet news sites, effectively confirming them. Might not be particularly exciting, but it will give magazines, newspapers and other offline news outlets something to run with.

I knew that was the reason Dmeister got a wii.

MH3 announcement was so lame last year, they should have beefed it up it was basically "Capcom has sent us word that MH3 is now Wii exclusive. no further info at this time" The next bit of news we got about MH3 was that the developer was crying and apologixing to ps3 fans who bought a ps3 expecting the game" that announcement was a fail yet did slap Japanese Ps3 owners hard in the face.

Please announce KH3 or better yet A new franchise that doesn't blow chunks.

Buying a console for just 1 game is a bad idea.
