Grrrr, the NPR site is just plain dragging...

We had two bags of grass, seventy-five pellets of mescaline, five sheets of high-powered blotter acid, a salt shaker half full of cocaine, a whole galaxy of multi-colored uppers, downers, screamers, laughers…Also a quart of tequila, a quart of rum, a case of beer, a pint of raw ether and two dozen amyls.  The only thing that really worried me was the ether.  There is nothing in the world more helpless and irresponsible and depraved than a man in the depths of an ether binge. –Raoul Duke

It is hard to shed anything but crocodile tears over White House speechwriter Patrick Buchanan's tragic analysis of the Nixon debacle. "It's like Sisyphus," he said. "We rolled the rock all the way up the mountain...and it rolled right back down on us...."  Neither Sisyphus nor the commander of the Light Brigade nor Pat Buchanan had the time or any real inclination to question what they were doing...a martyr, to the bitter end, to a "flawed" cause and a narrow, atavistic concept of conservative politics that has done more damage to itself and the country in less than six years than its liberal enemies could have done in two or three decades. -Hunter S. Thompson

I cant believe they have given him Penn without any figures released

ABC and NBC are calling Penn for Obama.

I know, but neither has released data yet

The data they are receiving matches their exit data, hence why they are calling it for him.

Nice ... Dole in N.C. loses. Sweetness! Guess God was on the godless chick's side. LOLz!!!!

@BengaBenga:

Are you watching Nederland 1 or CNN?

CNN on TV and MSNBC on my laptop.

I'm in the States quite often and there I always watch MSNBC, so I'm glad I can view their broadcast live. CNN's coverage is much better so far, though. But I like the MSNBC anchors better.

CNN now calling New Hampshire for Obama--THAT one was unexpected!

Could I trouble you for some maple syrup to go with the plate of roffles you just served up?

they just haven't shared any with us yet

That's it. They have tons of data they are processing, especially with it being close in Ark., WV, Fla., Ga., Miss, North Carolina and Indiana. Penn. has the data - and the only part that didn't break O's way is West Pa. However, with the data they got, they called it. Also, NBC and ABC called it as well. While they could be wrong, their data and the exit polls are saying the same thing, I'd trust the results.

It would take an act of God for McCain to win this election.

As Carville said it: Call the dogs, wet the fire, leave the house because this hunt is OVER.

Sky news has Obama 103 to Mcain 54 .

their numbers seem to be ahead of CNN's.

I skipped class and came early. (I was supposed to watch Salesman, but I'll just rent it over the weekend.) How's it going everybody?
