I see you've changed your sig, but not your smear of choice.  Marxist, Leninist, Communist ... please stop it.  You're wrong, and you're not going to convince anyone who doesn't already agree with you otherwise.

P.S.  I can't easily find your former sig on Google image search.  Do you still have it?  Will you show me?  It's actually pretty clever, albeit in a way I despise, and I'd like to have a copy for myself if you are willing to oblige.

[edit:  Never mind.  Google cache FTW!]

Never bother asking him questions.  Example of Halogamer behavior: He makes a baseless comment, if you react defensively he keeps going.  if you point out the flaw in his reasoning, then he realizes he is out of his league and then waits a little bit before making another baseless comment... it must be in the campaign training guide.

You can ask me ?s.  Just do not act like a 2 year old in rebuttal.  BTW, you have been reported.

Thanks for making the joke funny.  Notice how you respond to my silly comment and not to Final-Fan's accusation or to my previous post about your flawed reasoning.

BTW, reporting is for inappropriate behavior.  Telling the truth is not inappropriate.  Comparing people who you don't agree with to mass murderers is; your comments don't just insult the person, they are inflammatory. Hey, it's the internet, we all say things we wouldn't say in "rl"; which is why I didn't report you.

I would cite regulation, but I know you will simply ignore it.

McCain has some nice things to say about Obama, in response to haters:

'It was crystallized in the comment of a woman named Gayle Quinnell, who prefaced her question by saying she was afraid of Obama.

"He's an Arab" she said.

"No, ma'am," McCain said as he took the microphone from her hands.

"He's a decent family man, citizen, that I just have disagreements with."'

'In Wisconsin, McCain seemed shocked by supporters who shouted "terrorist" and "off with his head" at the mention of Barack Obama's name.

"You do not have to be scared" of an Obama presidency he said in response to supporters who say they fear what will happen if Obama is elected.'

Of course, then he screws it up, because he has no control of his campaign:

'Then there were those election officials in Rensselaer County, N.Y., who "overlooked" a "typo" on 300 absentee ballots they sent out mistakenly listing the Democratic candidate as Barack "Osama." Steven787: S and B are realy close on the keyboard...;)

In Virginia, where he is fighting to keep a red state red, McCain reluctantly disavowed remarks by state GOP chairman Jeff Frederick, who was quoted in a magazine saying "Obama and Osama both have friends that bombed the Pentagon. That's scary."

McCain declined to denounce it at first before finally issuing a terse statement saying that his campaign "disagrees with the comparison."'

I believe McCain doesn't want to be remember for inciting violence or hate crimes.  He's doing a lot of damage to this country by acting erratic during a crisis, and not shooting down all of the threats.

Oh, and read this quote again, and tell me what's wrong:

'"He's an Arab" she said.

"No, ma'am," McCain said as he took the microphone from her hands.

"He's a decent family man, citizen, that I just have disagreements with."'

The article is a lot more biased than me, it's pretty rough on McCain (though in a tongue-in-cheek way).  The difference is that these articles are by journalists, the comments he's discussing are from the Republican candidates and other Republic officials.

I would cite regulation, but I know you will simply ignore it.

With his "terrorism" claims, McCain was trying to get attentions away from the economy, but he failed miserably. By invoking deep-rooted fears such as "terrorism", it should be obvious that this reaction from the GOP's radical base could happen.

It was a quite bad campaign move, and one that he might regret later.

He's a decent guy who, I think, really loves this country.  I think he probably already regrets it, but thinks telling hatefull supporters to shut up might make him lose.

So halogamer1989, how do you feel about the fact that McCain's tax cut is aimed mostly at the wealthy?

http://www.taxpolicycenter.org/UploadedPDF/411693_CandidateTaxPlans.pdf
As far as Brookings, here is a summary from a Washington Post article who is a liberal newspaper themselves.  When they say that B.s is lib, you better believe it.

The Honeymoon

Ken Herman writes for Cox News Service with the question on everyone's mind in Washington: "Bipartisan peace in our times, or temporary ceasefire . . .

"'Both sides have been magnificent so far,' Ron Haskins, a senior fellow at the liberal Brookings Institution, said at a Friday seminar. 'Everybody's bipartisan. It's going to last at least another half hour.' "

http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/blog/2006/11/13/BL2006111300496_pf.html

It is better to spread money out evenly than do a welfare Robin Hood state.  Look, Obama can't pay for this anyway--with a recession in play he will have no choice but to renig on this proposal.  Still if Obama does pay for these, he will need to cut hundreds of federal programs' budgets.  McCain will not do this.  You can get in contact w/ my superiors at my HQ for more @ 703-418-2008.  Ask for Mary Conway.

Being liberal or conservative doesn't necessarily mean liberal or conservative bias in your analysis.  I wouldn't be quoting a moveon.org tax analysis without looking extra-hard at the numbers and double checking all the sources, and I certainly hope you take what Fox News says with a grain of salt (although I doubt it).  Now, do you have any reason to be dismissive of the Brookings analysis, or did you just look at their people and say OMG LIBERAL MSM HAXOR?

Next, "spread money out evenly"?  Did you look at the graph I posted?  What's "even" about that?  Obama has a bit of an "S" curve, high at the poor end, even in the middle half, and low at the rich end (and REALLY low at the "top 1 percent" end).  McCain's tax cut looks exactly like an exponential curve on the graph for the quintiles.  McCain's tax cut is exponentially higher on the rich -- and that's just PERCENTAGE.  the actual money savings will be even more extreme!  Saving 0.2% on $20k = $40.  Saving 3% on 300k = OVER NINE THOUSAND!

Anyway, since you've already whipped out the "welfare state" accusations I don't think you're interested in actual exchange of ideas here since we're not talking about anything remotely related to welfare.  But hey, just in case I'm wrong, would you mind telling me how exactly McCain is going to pay for a tax cut significantly BIGGER than Obama's, when Obama can't?  I don't feel like calling long distance to listen to some PR hack.  I feel much better doing this kind of thing in print where it's much easier to review exactly what's been said and take time to check sources etc.  I don't suppose that's why you don't want to do the same?

I have the most epic death scene ever in VGChartz Mafia.  Thanks WordsofWisdom!

Halogamer, Polls make money by being accurate. The more accurate they are in an election cycle, the more money they make. Polling companies want this prestige and money. Therefore, I would say the majority of them care more about results than setting a narrative. Also, how do you spin Rasmussen now? Obama is now ahead in ALL battleground except NC, where he is tied.

While an unfair comparison... it is true.

If you actually see the arab thing on tape.  She started to say "I can't trust him... he's (trying to think of horrible things... an Arab."

His comment was in regards to not being able to trust Obama.  That quote was just shrinking something down to make someone look bad.
