its possible, all major develpoment of disaster was done 5 months ago, they were just polishing , its possible they were planing something, i could be wrong though, and they just want to update their site.

Monolith cannot announce anything themselves, that is up to Nintendo. And if there's something big it will be announced at Jump Festa or dunno GDC 09 since Nintendo isn't attending TGS 08, but they don't announce anything until there's like 1 month before release.
