If you can find a Buffalo, get that, otherwise get a Linksys.

D-Link maybe, NEVER get Belkin.

I second Buffalo, mostly for their nifty AOSS one-touch security, which is supported by Wii, DS, PS3 and PSP.

Curious as to why you dislike Belkin, though. I actually preferred the Belk to my Buffalo router before it finally packed in.

I've bought Belkin routers (standard G models) on 3 separate occasions...2 of them burned out after setup, and the third died after a couple days.  I'm sure this isn't the norm, but it's certainly too big of a percentage of failure in my book.

I've had one D-link die but I saw that that specific model was bad, I've had a Linksys die but that was after 2 years, so whatever.

I've never had a Buffalo die, but I've only had 2 of those.

These are routers for my house, friend's houses, as well as business.

Bet with disolitude: Left4Dead will have a higher Metacritic rating than Project Origin, 3 months after the second game's release.  (hasn't been 3 months but it looks like I won :-p )

thanks for your recommendations ^^ I went to downtown and gave a look to some computer stores and I found out 5 options (according to my budget)

D-LINK DIR-300 80dls
Airlink AR430W 60 dls
Hawking HWR54G 50 dls
Airlink 101 Super G 60 dls
LINKSYS WRT300N 150 dls @_@ (I guess not XD)

what do you think?

I haven't asked to my ISP about their wireless modems but I may do it in the week

and I know about the new router by Nintendo but it is only available in japan =(

Since you apparently aren't going to get Buffalo (which would be 100% compatible and easy to install), visit Nintendos webpage and check their list of compatible routers to make sure that any of them doesn't have issues.

I haven't found a buffalo router :/ but I'll check the nintendo web page.

I saw a Nintendo wi fi usb connector, second hand. Does it works with Wii too?

@bob: It works with Wii, but i suggest you forget the USB connector. It's the Windows that doesn't seem to work with it. That's why the Nintendo branded router is coming out.
Buffalo is suggested because of AOSS. Maybe you could find one from internet stores?

There was some sort of fiasco with Buffalo, and they took all their routers off the shelves this summer because of some legal problem...I don't know if that's been resolved yet, so you might not be able to find a new Buffalo router currently.

There aren't any internet stores around :/ but I'll keep searching ^^

@Bob: As Ben said, there was somekind of an legal issue, go check the Buffalo technologies webpage for more info.
