Im sorry but this has to be better than a few that I think will be better:

1. Valkryria Chronicles
2. Lost Odyssey
3. Tales of Vesperia
4. Disgaea 3
5. Persona 4
(Honorbale Mention: Ar Tonelico 2 and Infinite Undiscovery)


Of course, this is COMPLETELY discounting portable RPGs.

If Bethesda made RPG games, then you might be able to include Fallout 3 in this conversation.

With the positive reviews coming out for Fable 2, this game does have a legitimate chance at nabbing RPG of the year, but we really need to wait and see how some other games turn out first.

 

Glad to know I'm not the only one who feels this way. Still it Looks better than typical Bethesda fare. OT Fable 2 appears to be shaping up to be what Fable 1 was promised to be.... I hope.
