See this is the issue with the title....now instead of focusing on the game and how happy alot of us are that it's dated, we have to listen to people badmouth it because they feel compelled to based on the title. And I can hardly blame them....if a thread was done this way for one of the other consoles I'm sure PS3 fans would be storming the place.

Again.....I like your excitement, but keep it console neutral.....just be happy for a fun game.

When you see it running in high definition at 1080p, you'll eat crow. There's a reason people on multiple forums are geeking out.

I doubt ill eat crow...I have a 58 inch 1080p TV and i have yet to eat crow by looking at anything that was 1080p. MGS4 was a pretty game but I found gameplay to be... meh... so the game was ...meh... to me.

The cell is the reason the game has 2 player splitscreen running at 1080p 60 fps.

Most likely the CELL has nothing to do with it. 2 Player Splitscreen doubles the amount of vertex operations needed (at similar graphics levels) and has NOTHING to do with the resolution. In other words 2 player splitscreen would be as challenging (with the same amount of vertices) for 640*480 as for 1080p. And I have not yet heard that someone is using the CELL processor for vertex transformations. It is used for advanced pixel shaders but that has nothing to do with splitscreen (number of pixels stays the same)

Its nothing more than a Xbox 1 game made for PS3.

Get your eyes checked.
