Bummer on not having a second remote, but if you're having that much fun with it as someone indifferent to Star Wars, I'll probably really geek out to it as a quasi-Star War fan.

We've been led to believe that the whole point is that you have way too damn much power. Even in the ads, enemies are made to be nothing more than rag dolls to play with. So is there any challenge?

So far it's a piece of cake. But i'm hoping that it'll get harder, i'm not too far into the game so... yeah.

Still i've died a couple of times because there were soldiers everywhere xD

there is no challenge at all. you can finish whole game without dying - even when you die you're just moving back to the last checkpoint(but all soldiers that you've killed will stay dead when you respawn) and lose only some points that can increase your stats(i didn't even use any of those points on my abilities until Felucia level).

You really should at least rent the the first three(Episodes 4, 5 and 6) movies. They are great

Thanks for the review.

I'm still sitting on the fence with this one since I hear the story mode is quite short. So really it'll all depend on Duel-mode if it's a purchase or rental.

Sounds gay if you can beat it in 6 hours

“When we make some new announcement and if there is no positive initial reaction from the market, I try to think of it as a good sign because that can be interpreted as people reacting to something groundbreaking. ...if the employees were always minding themselves to do whatever the market is requiring at any moment, and if they were always focusing on something we can sell right now for the short term, it would be very limiting. We are trying to think outside the box.” - Satoru Iwata - This is why corporate multinationals will never truly understand, or risk doing, what Nintendo does.

Well isn't The Clone Wars just one big fleshed out dual mode that really focuses on the lightsabers? If you are indeed looking to the dual mode to decide then I'd argue that you should wait for this instead. If you're like me and want that single player experience too then look to the reviews in the coming weeks :) or wait for next yr ;)

Trust me I'm keeping an eye on Clone Wars too as that might prove to be the better game to own for playing with friends but Force Unleashed looks much cooler overall.   I'd like the story mode too but if duel mode is really shallow there's no way I'm paying $50 for 6 hours of play.  I'll just rent it.

i've played psp version - i finished it yesterday and i have to say this:
if you're ps360 owner DO NOT buy this game!

psp version is just the same as ps360version(but with less shiny shiny graphics) and it took me less than 6 hours to finish the whole thing and i'm not good gamer! there isn't any challenge! even boss battles are really simple. additional missions don't last long either. whole replay value is about finding different lightsaber colours and star wars pictures since all additional exclusive missions and characters you will unlock just by finishing 'historic missions', 'force duel' mode and 'order 66' mode

so eventhough game is good it's not worth 50-60$ - maybe a rental, but nothing more.
overall 6/10 it would be 8/10 if the game was twice as long as it is.

Well I do recommend everybody to buy the 360/PS3 version. I was a bit dissapointed first from the Demo, but the game is so much better. Simply amazing. The fighting gets better and better and the graphics in some levels are awesome

9/10
