Yeah the problem with that is that the PS3 list is indefinite but the Xbox 360 one is 2008.

well i was just giving you stuff on here. not my fault the 360 list is just 2008. but the ps3 one is 2008-2009. i honestly dont know any 2009 360 games, again i was just giving you threads already created to try and help you.
heck you can just pick out the 2008 ps3 games and show here those with the 2008 360 games to make it fair
So Fable 2 and the price seem to be the only differentiating factors.
(Considering both RE5 and Bioshock are multiplatform).
She might enjoy Left4Dead if she likes zombie themed shooters.
On the flip side, she'll miss out on LittleBigplanet, God of War III and Final Fantasy Versus.
Tough call.

I mentioned L4D. But I also said it's likely coming to PS3.
Versus isn't really an issue as it wont be here for ages and she is only looking at FF, she hasnt played it before.
God of War 3 on the other hand, is an issue. She likes the series.

If she waits until her family gets an HDTV they may go halves in a PS3 for Blu Ray. But that could be a year or two away and she wants a console now.

Well its hard to know what to say Mr Starcraft! For someone who was involved with her, you don't seem to know much about her gaming tastes.
Now if shes still a friend, then I would lean towards suggesting an Xbox 360 because friends which play together, stay together and you can share libraries etc so she can experience more of what there is to see without having to pay for it.
What kind of girl is she? Thats the important question. Does she have a wet-on for Marcus Fenix? Is her obsession the reason you broke up?
