I still expected the XBOX360 to sell more, even if it was only the first weekend after the price cut in the U.S. It only beat the PS3 approximately by over 3,000!!!

5 days of no sales + 2 days of many sales = 7 days of ok sales.
starcraft - Playing Games = FUN, Talking about Games = SERIOUS
Exactly--those two days alone made up for five highly mediocre days.
Don't know when these figures are for exactly but let's remember electronics often sell up to 80% of their weekly sales over weekend, so if this includes a Saturday with the price cut you should see a pretty big spike as even with a price cut you won't see much on weekdays.
Try to be reasonable... its easier than you think...
Wasn't the price cut active after September 7? This weeks sales were to September 6, so the real price cut sales will follow next week.
You aint found shit!
Some of you people are really bad at math...the cut happened on the 7th...this data is as of the 6th...duh...
Weren't some places selling 360's cheaper early? That may account for the rise.
We had two bags of grass, seventy-five pellets of mescaline, five sheets of high-powered blotter acid, a salt shaker half full of cocaine, a whole galaxy of multi-colored uppers, downers, screamers, laughers…Also a quart of tequila, a quart of rum, a case of beer, a pint of raw ether and two dozen amyls. The only thing that really worried me was the ether. There is nothing in the world more helpless and irresponsible and depraved than a man in the depths of an ether binge. –Raoul Duke
It is hard to shed anything but crocodile tears over White House speechwriter Patrick Buchanan's tragic analysis of the Nixon debacle. "It's like Sisyphus," he said. "We rolled the rock all the way up the mountain...and it rolled right back down on us...." Neither Sisyphus nor the commander of the Light Brigade nor Pat Buchanan had the time or any real inclination to question what they were doing...a martyr, to the bitter end, to a "flawed" cause and a narrow, atavistic concept of conservative politics that has done more damage to itself and the country in less than six years than its liberal enemies could have done in two or three decades. -Hunter S. Thompson
