I think Sony should skip,because all loss it has made at ps3.Or maybe it doesnt need, if 10 year is true.

Dont know about Microsoft,it is trying so hard but seems like it cant win..

Nintendo,well,it sells like hell,but most of games have been trough and Wiis unique is almoast at its limit.

Nintendo could skip a generation with the DS and still beat the PSP + PSP2 combined, so yeah, but that doesn't mean that they should though.

I'm doubtful about that. The Wii seems to be selling like hotcakes still now, and don't forget the WiiMotion Plus and Wii Sports Resort!

Other than that, I think Nintendo could at least make a new console with PS3/360-like graphics, but the other companies should skip next generation. I mean, we're almost at the pinnacle of graphics in my opinion, and anything better than what the Xbox offered is just a bonus to me!

No I want Zelda and all other games Nintendo makes too be in allot better graphics.

Even though Sony says the PS3 has a 10 year life span they will relies the PS4 at least 6 years after the PS3s release.

MS will not give up they have the money they need to continue.

Wii is selling well, sure but not forever. It doesn’t matter how popular any console is they will sell less at the end of there life span and then stop all together.

Sony should have skipped this gen, the ps2 still sells well and just gone for the next playstation around the time wii 2 and xbox 720 drop.

Good point  ,PS2 would still be selling good with strong software support.
