That sucks they should have kept that in game but as an special option you had to choose in the settings menu with big warning text when you enable it.

I've never played a Wipeout game in my life, but this is interesting.

But I also plan on doing so to make sure I'm not missing out on anything

Wipeout was the best racing franchise in the PS1/N64 days or at least my favorite.  Hell, 1 player Wipeout XL was as good as 4 player Mario Kart 64 to me.

That blows. The game still looks great though.... this is one of the few things that would make me want a PS3, even if it's 'only' a PSN game. Loved the Wipeout series

 Who cares if its a PSN game, most of the games on the PSN are better than actual Blu-ray ps3 titles.
