Sad news: Wipe out HD downgraded significantly visually because of safety

So they ended up taking it out completely :/

I've never played a Wipeout game in my life, but this is interesting.

But I also plan on doing so to make sure I'm not missing out on anything

Wipeout was the best racing franchise in the PS1/N64 days or at least my favorite.  Hell, 1 player Wipeout XL was as good as 4 player Mario Kart 64 to me.
