I knew this was going to happen. That would put VGC off the PS3 by what 40k? So much for Pachter's earlier prediction of a million Wiis starting in August. This should set up a very strong holiday season for the 360.

Well the PS3 did have a hardware shortage...I guess lol.

Well congrats for the 360. With a $50 clearance sale and an introduction of a new model, they outsold the PS3 by 10k in their best region while the PS3 worked out supply issues.

Unless it's stats. Then you check the margin of error to see if it actually means anything.

Of course, I've never seen NPD publish their margin of error...

The clearance sale was in July and people knew about the impending real price cut so that means the September NPD is going to be insane. See I can make stupid statements too.

I have said once and I will said it again. SONY DON'T CARE IF THEY LOSE IN AMERICA. They beat the 360 in almost every other market. M$ put their resoures into the America Market.

PS3 in America is a lost cause. They won't catch up to the 360 anytime soon, maybe never.
