Forums - General Discussion - What Do You Think of The September 11th Attacks?

dude, it is not ignorant, its lack of knowledge on your end. The Bush and Bin Laden families have been friends for years since they are in the same business, oil and gas. Bush is building a gas pipeline through Afghan and Bin Laden's company is constructing it. Hence when 9/11 happened no flights left the US of A other then the royally escorted Bin Laden family.

You have shown lack of knowledge in your statements.

As for Conspiracy Theories, I would have said the same about 9/11 until i watched Loose Change. rather then arguing on a thread where you won't find any answers possibly, why don't you do something more resourceful and actually go watch this All American Documentary! The people who made it had no reason to believe in conspiracies since they are the ones who lost out by losing friends and family. They were seeking the truth for those loved ones they lost since the US of A wouldn't allow an investigation into 9/11.

What you are doing is blindly following what the media has portrayed and we all know how accurate the media can be. You basing your retort on what the media has published shows ignorance to your ability to cross reference and educate yourself from various sources, since you chose to go with the easy option.

I won't reply again on this thread since if you are a man of your words, instead of arguing you will go out and watch the DVD and go do your homework next time.

OT though, 9/11 was horrible. Either way, many innocent people died as a consequence on both; american soil and afghan soil. Nothing good came of it other then a war and poppy farms being won. Afghan is still no-man's land as it was a before 9/11, Osama is still at large and Al'Qa'eeda still exists. However, if we really care for humanity, USA and the UK should have long ago stepped into Zimbabwe and de-throned Mugabe for the genocide that has taken place and possibly will continue. Funnily enough, no one has come to any aid apart from little half witted peace talks and empty threats. Where is affirmative action when one needs it!

I still don't see you using any source for this nonsense besides your keyboard, so there's really no reason to respond to your post. A BS filled propoganda film that presents baseless accusations without the support of facts is hardly proof positive. Have fun in crazytown.

please do explain, its easy to just say that but not back it up

do you know we could have avoided all of it if we hadnt been so cocky and high and mighty, we knew something was coming and still did nothing to try and protect ourselves

the only crime of 9-11 is that so many had to die b/c of arrogance and politics

Christ, why don't you just take it to the Daily-Kos. Blaming the general American populas for muslim extremists is a completely ignorant and misinformed generalization. There's a reason Obama threw Wright under the bus. This is it. It's self depreciating. Saying that 9/11 isn't a crime. Saying that American deserved it. Acting like those people deserved to die, because of some ignorant generalized sense of karma. That's american-hating liberalism, and far left secular-progressivism at its finest. I suppose income redistribution and a one world government is your next rant.

The terrible thing is you actually try to defend your stance as if there is no counter-argument. Here's one for you:

What you say is ignorant. 9/11 was a crime. It wasn't a good thing. It was comitted by muslim extremists who defile the state of Islam. Odds are, your views on the matter stem more from a deep seeded hatred for America, rather than the facts, and your generalizations are nothing more than you've read on a web-site or seen in a movie that depicted America as the great evil super-giant that destroys all good in this world. I won't get into an ideological debate with you about America, but I will say that no man has the right to take another's life for an ideological theory.

Your assertion that it's OK for muslims to do it, and not ok for America to do it, no matter what the motivation behind those actions, makes you a big ole hypocryte, now don't it?

9/11 was a crime. Obviously. If murder is a crime. Wheather or not we deserved it, I'll leave up to your cool-aid drinking far left socialist secular-progressive ACLU talking points.

I don't need your console war.
It feeds the rich while it buries the poor.
You're power hungry, spinnin' stories, and bein' graphics whores.
I don't need your console war.

NO NO, NO NO NO.

for the record people, Citing Zeitgeist or Loose change is tantamount to handing in your "I think rationally" membership card and joining team Asinine.

Those "Documentaries" are both full of shit.

I'm a mod, come to me if there's mod'n to do.

Chrizum is the best thing to happen to the internet, Period.

Serves me right for challenging his sales predictions!

Bet with dsisister44: Red Steel 2 will sell 1 million within it's first 365 days of sales.

The World Trade Centers were glorious works of engineering. I wish the new buildings at ground zero were even more glorious. Taller, wider, more advanced.

Nobody cheers for Goliath unless they are in the same army. Think about that for a while.

Who cares? Many thinks much worse have happend.
Is it possible, because it happend in the USA, it's blown out of proportion?

You are right. Fox News, NBC, ABC, CNNN and all those Republican- Murdoch owned propaganda pay tv channels brainwash people in America.

9/11 is so blown out of proprtion.

I wonder if Congress will make 9/11 a National Mourning day in America and people get a day off work to mourn the 3000 people who were killed in the 9/11 attack?

Someone says "9/11" and you say "Who cares?" Makes me sick, both of you. Rock_on you're a notorious America hater. You could care less about republican or democrat, and you're ignorant enough not to realize that NBC and especially MSNBC are liberal broadcast channels. Just because you hate America doesn't mean you should insult our national tragedies. You live with a lot of bitter hate, my friend. I just hope the families of those lost don't have to ever hear anyone's cowardly internet opinion, irl. Nobodies saying other things weren't also bad, but you don't see many American's trolling Rowandan messageboards telling them their loved ones deaths were over-rated, and you don't see people telling people who lost loved ones, even if it was just one person, "who cares." You guys are brave on the internet. It's cool. I, personally, think you're cute.

Also, another really foolish thing is these 9/11 conspiracy nuts. You're basically just throwing a bunch of crap at the wall, hoping enough stuff sticks. It's speculation with no evidence, and it's rediculious. Popular Mechanics magazine disproved every one of these theories, and they were pretty dumb in the first place, right up there with "alien and ghost alliance."

You make me sick I smell hypocritsism, if some thing happens too american citizens the whole world should care if people from a different county suffer it isn't as bad? Or didn't you mean that?

In my first couple of years of University I had a couple of argments with people about what warfare in the future would look like ... I said it would be very different because the large (powerful) nations would always avoid conflict with eachother, and they would (generally speaking) try to limit wars between smaller nations, so you would see small organizations who were not affiliated with any country attack large nations using unconventional methods to make a statment.

Now, until September 11th 2001, I always envisioned it as being very small scale strikes like were seen in Ireland or Israel and assumed that terrorists were not organized enough to handle anything larger.

Personall, I have always doubted that Al Qaeda exists in the form we're lead to believe because I think it is far more likely that you would have 1,000 tiny terrorist agencies than 1 large terrorist organization. Beyond that, I think that September 11th was a wake up call to the western world about the real threats they faced, and the United States woke up on the wrong side of the bed and was grumpy.

I wish they would just rebuild them. exactly the same.

^_^

Wow. just wow. Holy f***ing god. what the HELL is wrong with you people? Why don't you just go out and say Pearl Harbor was America's fault because we decided to cut off oil shipments to Japan? And why don't you guys ever remember that if it wasn't for this country all of you would be speaking German now, TWICE.

Not trying to be a fanboy. Of course, it's hard when you own the best console eve... dang it

What I thought? It was a trajedy... though nothing as big as everyone blows it up to be. There have been bigger trajedys both manmade and natural before and since 9/11.

I think the "Woe is us" over reaction treating it like the worst thing ever is what lead to the more "anti-americanism" even more then Iraq.

It's also what lead a lot of people to be for the war in Iraq I think... despite it not being related everyone was on edge and ready to pounce for some reason. At the time I thought our leaders were of calmer minds. Turned out to not be so.

i think its a big joke. And i had alot of good laughs today thinking about it.
I love 9/11 jokes
