I am planning to buy it but sales will be low.
Between a previous release on PC and the fact that the game releases almost at the same time as RFoM2, it's really hard to imagine crazy sales.( Resistance 2 will kill any legs Bioshock could have during the holydays).



PS3-Xbox360 gap : 1.5 millions and going up in PS3 favor !

PS3-Wii gap : 20 millions and going down !

100k first week and about 300k-400k lifetime in at least in America. All American sales. Can't say for Europe aside from 300k lifetime. Will get overshadowed probably by the more hyped shooter, Resistance 2 though.

One sale less here at least, I think due to their PR (shooting themselves in the foot) they don't deserve to sell many copies on the PS3. And then I hope they learn from their mistake.

What mistake?

They will have made far more money from accepting an MS moneyhat than they would have from the difference between PS3 sales actual vs theoretical with a simultaneous launch.

I hope it sells well, because that means that a good game is getting the recognition that it deserves. However, I can't shake the feeling that due to the year+ wait, and the newer games also launching at the same time it will not get the sales it deserves. I think ~500k lifetime.

It will sell very well. ABout 150k first week, and maybe 2 million lifetime.

I think it will track similar to Oblivion on the PS3. About 600k lifetime.

America loves the 360, Europe loves the PC, both have had Bioshock for a year, now the PS3 version launches at $60 when both other version are easily obtainable for $30 or less..... I guess my favorite part so far is people predicting 2 million in sales, the 360 version hasn't even reached that mark yet.

First week 35K US, 18K Europe so around 60K WW.
