Forums - General - Olbermann, Hannity or Bill-O?

Who do you watch most?

For me, Olbermann. I loved him on Fixed Noises and on ESPN. Bill-O makes me tired with his racism-laced comments and Hannity is a tool.

Thoughts?

None. Oberman used to be cool. Then he just became the leftwing version of O'Reily. Except worse in some ways. O'Reily actually had an ok interview with Obama i hear.

John Stewart. I don't care that we are apposed politically, the man makes me laugh :).

To be honest, I don't need media telling me what they want me to hear. I get most of my news from all the web sites. CNN, Fox News, MSBNC, and a few news papers. I then try and weed out all the left wing bullshit from all sources other then Fox, and all the right wing bullshit from Fox.

What I end up with is a pretty shitty understanding of the world, but a better one then I could ever get from any one source.

EDIT: I miss when news was news.

The only show of the three I watch once in a while is Hannity and Colmes, and that because each are good little parrots that do nothing more than repeat the party's talking points. So in 15 minutes of Hannity and Colmes you get an idea of what each party wants you to think.

Lou Dobbs!

We had two bags of grass, seventy-five pellets of mescaline, five sheets of high-powered blotter acid, a salt shaker half full of cocaine, a whole galaxy of multi-colored uppers, downers, screamers, laughers…Also a quart of tequila, a quart of rum, a case of beer, a pint of raw ether and two dozen amyls.  The only thing that really worried me was the ether.  There is nothing in the world more helpless and irresponsible and depraved than a man in the depths of an ether binge. –Raoul Duke

It is hard to shed anything but crocodile tears over White House speechwriter Patrick Buchanan's tragic analysis of the Nixon debacle. "It's like Sisyphus," he said. "We rolled the rock all the way up the mountain...and it rolled right back down on us...."  Neither Sisyphus nor the commander of the Light Brigade nor Pat Buchanan had the time or any real inclination to question what they were doing...a martyr, to the bitter end, to a "flawed" cause and a narrow, atavistic concept of conservative politics that has done more damage to itself and the country in less than six years than its liberal enemies could have done in two or three decades. -Hunter S. Thompson

i went to watch some more of Bill flippin out and i found this...its awesome.

I agree about Jon Stewart. It says a lot about the current political/journalistic climate that comedians seem to have more integrity than the news media.

Hannity but I haven't listened to him in awhile.
