"Also, I've noticed an increase of sony fans shouting the praises of the PSWii, is it because the Wii makes up for the deficiencies of the PS3 that you have to latch onto it like a leech in order to surpass the 360? (I know it's flamebait, but it had to be said, I've noticed an increase in it and I think it's absolutely disgusting that the PS3 fans aren't proud of the PS3's accomplishments, so they have to use the banner "PSWii" in order to make themselves look better as Nintendo looks so good right now)."
By using the phrase PSWii they are showing an alliegiance to Japanese gaming as a whole which I also prefer much more than the American school of game design which is heavily PC influenced. The types of PC games that I did prefer died out well over a decade ago -- rpgs like SSI's gold box D & D games and Garriott's Ultima games that were more about telling stories than collecting loot and rankings like modern mmorpgs and adventure games like those designed by LucasArts and Sierra On-Line in the eighties and early nineties that I will always have much fonder memories of than any shooter that I've ever played.
My most anticipated games: Whatever Hideo Kojima is going to do next, Final Fantasy XIII, Final Fantasy Versus XIII, Gran Turismo 5, Alan Wake, Wii Sports Resort. Cave Story Wiiware.
