Thanks for the article, good read.

This article is amazing, I can't believe someone made this right when the controller was announced. Who is this Danc guy and why isn't he completely famous for the video game industry predictions and evaluations?

I'm willing to bet there were more people "this right" around that time.  Though instead of writing public articles on the internet, I'd guess they were too busy doing... oh, perhaps buying Nintendo stock?

Well, there are two different things, analysists and public analysists. The analysist group makes real analysis and get paid well because actual investors make money with the analysis and the public analysists just give out their thoughts in public, because real investors don't listen to them knowing they don't know shit anyway.

Of course, I was just surprised that someone more official actually wrote an article on it. Almost all you heard from everyone else was "doom doom doom!"

Were you one of the ones who bought stock in Nintendo? It was one of the best decisions I ever made. =P

No, unfortunately I wasn't paying much attention to the gaming industry.  Actually, I wasn't paying much attention to anything at all besides crack, erm, WoW.  Blizzard robbed me of my life... bad times

Um....what? Was that sarcasm?

c0rd: Ouch man. I have yet to play WoW, I've been staying away from it like the plague. My friends keep trying to get me to start though....

All I know is once a great Pokemon MMO comes out, I will drop out of university (or quit my job), my entire life will be wasted, and that will be the end of things.

In the article, the author describes Brain Training as a modest success. A few years later, the franchise has over 25 million sales. Ivo is laughing at this miscalculation.

I've seen this article before, but it's worth a second read. I should dig through the rest of the author's site and learn a thing or two.
