Pathetic. Just because it's overrated doesn't mean it's bad.
Yeah it is a dissapointment, when you played the previous GTA games. But nobody can tell me, that the game is bad. Such people are just too dissapointed and don't want to accept, that their expectations were way too high and now they're angry.

I agree that it's the most overrated game of this generation. But it's still an awesome game. So far it would be my game of the year but not the best game of this generation. I still prefeer games like cod 4 and super mario galaxy over it. And I guess that when games such as Far cry 2 and prince of percia are coming this year, it won't stay on the top for long.

I agree with what you said except for Halo.

Halo 1 was the best thing to hit consoles since pac man. Halo 2 was a great expnasion(multiplayer campaign anyone?)  that made online multiplayer standard for FPS games. So halo 3 didn't improve as much as 1 and 2 did...but its still fun as hell online with a pretty good campaign. Its still in the top played games on the 360. Also, Forge and Theater mode make that game a much better overall package than anything available on consoles. I definetly think it deserves 9+/10. Is anyone still playing Bioshock? And that got 96/100. There is your over-rated game of this gen.

Well last night there were 500,000+ people online playing halo 3 at any given time. I'm sure they are playing it cause its over-rated.
