Personally I think it is complete bullshit that someone pays $50 dollars for a game and only have a limited amount of times they can install it.

This is why I do not buy games on PC anymore.

I hope Diablo III doesn't have DRM like this. :(

Here comes the waaaambulance!

DRM sucks, but whenever a game with DRM comes out, I have to think about half the whiners don't really care, they just want an excuse to pirate the game. You could always just download a crack after buying, but whatever.

I don't really care about Spore anymore anyway. As long as the good games don't get pirated to hell.

Blizzard games never needed something like that, because the real game experience always was/is online (Warcraft1+2 excluded)

so,because a CD-key only can be logged in once at a time into the bnet, they just have to make sure CD-keys can't be obtained without buying a copy of the game

Isn't downloading a crack... Illegal?

I always question the DRMs when the games with DRMs are always released, free of DRM ahead of time.

The verification everytime your online... good.

The 3 time install part... pointless.

That kind of DRM just needs one nerd to crack... to be useless.

Whilst the half-life franchise is massive its simply not in the same league as the sims in regards to sales. Half Life gave Valve the time and finances to create Half Life 2, Steam and much other goodness. Or they just don't bother buying it, like myself with Bioshock (until its DRM went), Mass Effect and now this. I'm perfectly willing to pay for my vice, there's no way I'm paying for something that might give me hassle.
