when next year?  Imo, it will be around late fall 09.  MSFT loves November b/c of the significance of that month w/ Live and console launches.  I can also see another price cut, albeit a final and less drastic one.

Is that the name of the new Xbox? Wow, next year? It might be better to wait to get an xbox till next year if its BC (which im sure it will be)

^ No way, they won't add BC. There are hardly any Xbox 1 exclusives that are worth playing, and the ones that are worth playing are already compatible.

Xbox 360 Valhalla is the 360 w/ the unified GPU/CPU hybrid chipset. They will both be @ 65nm.

TSMC reported in May about Valhalla. It's code named Xbox 520 (Xbox 360 * 1.5)

Reported date of completion is May 2009, possibly using 45nm technology. It WILL be a unified CPU+GPU design, and WILL initiate the Xbox Slim.

Expect it to debut in August next year.

 I seriously hope they don't call it that. They should atleast use another work like how Nintendo used DS Lite instead of DS Slim.

I don't think the final name would be Xbox 520 either because that may confuse somw people. I wonder what the final name for it will be.
