When I played SFIV, to me, it resembled SFIII more than SF II. Only thing that I can say that seemed very SF II like was the speed, but hopefully u can go to options and speed it up. The buttons and moves were very SF III like (even with the LP+LK to throw, HP+HK to taunt).

Isn't that a good thing because I am pretty sure SFII was not only the most popular SF game, but also considered to be the best.

BTW, I am definitely looking forward to Tekken 6

Street Fighter III: The Third Strike is the most popular in the tournament realm. I'mn no tournament player, but me and my friends love the game to death.

I'm sure you've seen this (everybody has), but I figured I'd post it again just for the awesomeness:

And as far as I know you can't even parry in SFIV. :(

Not being able to parry will be lame. And I liked a lot of the characters from SFIII like Gill and Ingrid.

Tekken isnt going to let down anyone. I too think its gona go multiplatform. What really surprises me are the SC4 sales for 360. Most serious fighting games are almost unplayable due to the 360 dpad, but SC4 did okay.
However Tekken requires more precision than SC so maybe if it does go multiplatform then sales would be worse that the PS3 version.
