You mean Zune? Yea that was well considered

“When we make some new announcement and if there is no positive initial reaction from the market, I try to think of it as a good sign because that can be interpreted as people reacting to something groundbreaking. ...if the employees were always minding themselves to do whatever the market is requiring at any moment, and if they were always focusing on something we can sell right now for the short term, it would be very limiting. We are trying to think outside the box.” - Satoru Iwata - This is why corporate multinationals will never truly understand, or risk doing, what Nintendo does.

Also, I don't find downloading games and not being able to get retail very smart... what if you delete your drive? what if it malfuctions? here go $200 of games.

Physical media pl0x.

Ok... this will be interesting.... seeing that both Nintendo and Sony have an extremly safe position in the handheld market at the moment I would like to see MS raped to death lol

Vote the Mayor for Mayor!

Raped to death, u mean like xbox is being raped on ww figures and slowly fondled state side.

Clearly, while the market for MP3 players is maturing there is still room for growth. Apple is finding growth in new products that innovate in different directions; Microsoft is trying to achieve growth by copying Apple’s past without really adding any value. That strategy isn’t working.

This comment sums up my feelings and the industries view of MS breaking into new markets.

I find funny how fanboyism blinds people, the industry at large has been copypasting each other for decades. But hey, I guess it must feel good to make one self believe "his guys" are the creative ones leading the pack, etc etc...

edit: ah, the MS handheld is not happening.

Current-gen game collection uploaded on the profile, full of win and good games; also most of my PC games. Lucasfilm Games/LucasArts 1982-2008 (Requiescat In Pace).

thst would be a terrible idea.i dont think the market could support another handheld. plus what it be the same gen as DS/PSP? if so it could not possibly win. only if the technology was far beyond that of pSP/DS could it stand a chance. but i dont think it would have much third party support and microsofts firts party isnt exactly the best

nintendo fanboy, but the good kind

proud soldier of nintopia

even if its true, according to my Zune experience... hmmm.. i am skeptical
