No, I don't see a reason to go 360. They are very similar with the PS3, but the PS3 exclusives are more interesting to me. Therefore, I'll go PS3 when I have the money.

Casual PS2 owners will probably never buy a 360 since it doesn't have any content appealing to them.

I try to pick up every console within 2 years of its' release, so yeah, I'm another one of those folks who purchased a PS2 and an XBox 360.

The price probably does factor in. Everyone I know that has chosen the 360 instead of the PS3 had made their decision for financial reasons. And when the Wii vanishes from the shelves this Christmas season, desperate parents will have an inexpensive alternative.

Not everyone is a console fanboy like me. They will go for the cheapest system/best games. Obviously the 360 is the best choice this current gen if you don't care about blu-ray.

They bought PS2s because they were so cheap, the games were cheap (no $60 bull) and the support was there. Does everyone honestly think the majority of people out there buy Sony systems because they believe Sony is the best? The Wii should prove casual gamers rule the market to boot.

yes the 360 is ahead the majority of kides in my years how had a next gen console had a 360 maybe 30-40 people

didnt do much in europe, dont think it will do much in USA
