Forums - Microsoft - How Many PS2 Owners Will Get A 360?

Yes, because the majority of US households are on vgchartz. /sarcasm

360 still has another $70-$100 to cut before it can even come close to a household name like the PS2. But at $200 most people will consider the 360 over the PS2 right now because for $70 more you can go "next gen".

The only thing against MS is RROD, and some more RROD. They have all the third party support they could wish for outside of Metal Gear Solid. Hopefully Atlus starts putting some Shin Megami games on the 360 and we'll be all set.

It's just that simple.

RROD is history why do people insist on bringing it up?

I think many, coz Ps2 had at the end of 2006 few good games like Final fantasy XII and God of war 2, and when Ps3 came...Well,700€ for few good games..Some fans bought it.
But many PS2 owner sided to Xbox 360.

Take my love, take my land..

No for now. A few reasons being-
1.Many 360 exclusives end up being PC games
2. Still haven't eliminated RROD as far as I know.
3. Don't want to pay for LIVE as I believe it should be free.

Having said all that, once the price comes down to $200 or below for the premium SKU I will seriously consider making the purchase.

Ummm, does it count if I had a PS2, got a PS3, and plan on getting a 360 to compliment my PS3? If so, then yes.
