 This thread is borderline offensive.  Zelda is in a totally different league than the other 2.  Resistance was fun, but is only 1 game so far.  It's not really a franchise yet.  Halo, don't get me started.  One of the most overrated franchises ever.  Anyone who thinks Halo is anything but an above average FPS that has been hyped up to AAA status is a delusional MS fanboy.

Wow. You must have really enjoyed it. I found it full of unrealised potential, worthy of a 7.5 at best

 

I absolutely love Resistance, it will be the first time I buy a Collector's edition, I look forward to the novel, and the comic, and think Ratchet and Clank deserve a Saturday morning cartoon.

On Topic I would rate Zelda higher than Resistance but I have to count Zelda 2 and all those Phillip CD craps.

I don't know why you woul consider Halo way above Resistance though. What makes Halo so much better? Resistance 2 will probably be better than any of the 3 Halo games.

Why are you comparing the sales of a game/series to its quality? It makes no sense... Are you trying to tell me that Okami sucks ass? Or that Team Ico's games are terrible?

Regarding Halo-to-Zelda sales:

It is imperative that you keep in mind that during the release of many Zelda games, the gaming industry was a fraction of the size that it is now. Also, Zelda games have spanned across 5 (check) consoles and 3 (check again) handhelds. For every Zelda fan to have all 8 gaming devices would be pretty spectacular. Halo games have been on 2 consoles, so keeping up with the games is much easier.

This is an awful comparison. That being said, I gotta give it to Zelda, what with that series being my personal favorite of all time.
