I'm a member ar various PC hardware and gaming forums... If someone posts an article I could post it in the PC discussion... if you want.

This site has a huge amount of hate in general. Every hobby has Web sites. Comics, Cars, Pets, whatever... None of them seem to generate the level of hate as this hobby, and I don't know why.

We are all here because we love to play video games. Who gives a shit what we play them on?

EXCUSE me? Did you look at the last three polls recently? Seems like the PS3 demographic grew more than you think. o_o

And what do Wii owners have to do with PC bashing? What about Sony/Microsoft fan of boys, they're little angels or something?

Why does pro anything mean you bash the other consoles/pc? 

I'm assuming that Jo21, posting that kind of comment in this thread that talks about too many console fanboys bashing BenKenobi's favorite gaming platform, was a good enough justification.

Most posts ever in a PC thread??!? I kid. I usually end up killing them anyways, that or no one ever replies to me =(.
Ben, are you in a tf2 clan, cause I was in a server a while back and there was a guy named ben kenobi? I know its a long shot because I'm sure there is at least one person with that name, but it is worth asking. The server was FC or something like that, I really can't remember.

Ben, I don't hate PC gaming or PC gamers, but I have responded a few times to posts claiming that a game being released on 360/PC isn't exclusive to 360, even though no other console will be getting the game. I've never ventured into the PC section to post anything negative about PC gaming... at least not that I can remember.

I agree that there seems to be a lot of my-platform-is-better-than-your-platform, and lately it seems that people are posting threads just to try and flood the front page of the site with threads about their favorite console... very annoying. And I, too, have been tempted to just leave the site when I read crap like "360 failure rate is 100%" or "Blu-ray is going to die" or "the 360 only gets good games becomes MS buys the publishers off" or "the Wii's sales will fall off any time now", etc. Yeah, those people are annoying as heck, particularly because their primary focus seems to be negativity. I find multi-page threads about why Blu-ray has already conquered the market, but when I post a thread about Blu-ray discounts on Amazon to try and get people excited about the format, I get about 5-10 posts max.

Yep, people can be very frustrating sometimes when it seems like the focus of discussion is just plain wrong, but I stick around because I feel like I can contribute. Will most people who post negative replies really listen to my reasons? Probably not, but maybe someone will.

So, I guess I'm not just here to have fun... yeah I like a good debate, but in the end, I want to contribute, even if only a few get anything out of it.

I don't remember being on an FC server...I typically play on The Uber Melons server or just random pubs, so it could have been me.

Well, I've posted in most of your TF2 threads, but there just aren't any other PC games I care about at this point. I long ago tired of the RTS genre, recently burned out on MMOs, and only play the occaisional FPS.

Console games are more varied, and aren't locked down to the keyboard + mouse interface I've been using for 20 years. It's just a more exciting place for me to game right now.

Well, most of my reports, are never taken seriously. I'm always reporting people who are clearly braeking the rules, and I even report people using the message function when they troll on news sections or charts. But if the amount of stupid posters/ useless trolls keeps on growing at this rate, not even the trolls themselves will want to post in this site anymore.

IMO it is getting out of control really fast.
