The last piece of news we heard about the Halo franchise was regarding the resurgence of additional achievements for Halo 3 titled Mythic and Microsoft’s latest splurge on hiring members to strengthen the internal Halo team inside Microsoft Game studios.
The latest piece of buzz surrounding the franchise is that a lot of people who were originally at Bungie are shifting their offices to Microsoft to help with the upcoming Peter Jackson game rumored to be unveiled to the public at this year Tokyo Game Show. The game is supposed to be grittier than the versions of the Halo that people are normally accustomed to and is set to star another Spartan Warrior, supposedly female who was a part of the Spartan programme.
Internal people at Microsoft confirm that MGS had adopted the policy of releasing two Halo’s during a console’s franchise during the original Xbox lifespan and this is going to continue and expand in this generation, the first will be Halo Wars and the second project that was pulled off at E3 2008 was no other than Peter Jackson’s Halo now rumored to debut at the Tokyo Game Show.
