As a parent myself, I feel very sorry for the parents loss. That being said, the parents should be thrown in jail. An 11 year old skipping school and having access to a gun is just horrible parenting!!!

no he was right in the first place, infact no one should play with guns, they aren't toys. they are weapons and are much the sames as dangerous tools like a chainsaw or an axe, they have real applications and with proper use they are valuable, they're is nothing wrong with parents teaching their children about proper handling of a fire arm but playing with a gun is definately a dumb thing to do

I've known how to shot guns since I was 9... I havent shot anyone. Its all about behavor. The kid obviously couldnt handle the basic responsibilities of handling a real firearm which include not pointing the barrel at any living thing including yourself unless your life is threatened by another individual.
Parents fault. Now they regret letting their kid HAVE A GUN. Maybe they should have taught him PLAYING WITH A LOADED GUN WITH THE SAFETY OFF IS AN UNSAFE THING.
