^Thats the case for me, Remove Stress = Still Panic Irrationally. But if Stress is their the attacks are worse.

I completely understand that and it happens to me too, just not as often.  I would suggest you keep looking for a psychologist that you like dealing with.  There are psychologists that come at problems from different approaches and you need to find one that works for you.  Once you find one, you need to stick with the treatment.  That isn't to say that the medical approach is wrong, but I think gangtackling the problem from all aspects is the way to cure it or help you live with it.

I give that post a 9.6.

Yeah I had to deal with that during my last year of school... pure horror... they dissapeared after about half a year but I think they are just manifesting in different ways now... I expect them to come back anytime...

Helpful advice thanks. OFF topic: Why do rate threads and posts and how does the rating work?

Yes a positive Attitude is essential to overcoming the attacks.

Yes understanding that many other people have it does help with wrapping your head around the concept that it is all in your head and your body is doing fine.

One thing I can't stress enough, if at all possible, you need to learn how to deal with the attacks without the aid of anything else.  The more escapes you use or chemicals you use, the more you will become dependant on them.  You having both OCD and panic attacks makes complete sense as they are both anxiety related disorders.  You need to see a psychologist also, not just a medical doctor.  It is very likely that they can help you deal with this problem.  It takes work and time.  I'm not against taking drugs for these things, but take them while you are in treatment for a long term cure.

I give that post a 9.8.

That part is ABSOLUTELY crucial!!! That was the only way I was able to take back my life. I remember the moment clear as day - I was driving to work and (at about the same spot that I had on other occasions, turned around, gone home, and called in sick) I could feel myself, once again, going over the edge.

I stared at myself in the rear-view mirror and SWORE, I would take control of this shit and force myself to move forward.

Made it to work that day and never looked back since...    ...lost about a year of my life to this crap, but I'll never let it take over again.

I´m not sure this is the best advice for everybody... of course its the ultimate goal to reach but its not realistic for everyone... you and me might have been able to overcome this without help but I have met many people who where much to caught up in their anxiety and perhaps other problems to face them alone, some of them will never lead a normal live and some will need medication all their live, its important to improve your situation in a realistic fashion that fits to your situation and personality, many people I met tried to make it without help or medicie many times, but with time it only got worse and worse... one of them wanted to manage her problems by herself but ended up not leaving her house for about five years...

not really, not that I can think of one =/

I have to agree there too.

I found something that you might find interesting if you drink anything with caffiene in it.

I tend to mention this alot because it helped me a great deal.  If you have panic attacks, and you drink caffienated stuff, stop drinking them.  It does help.
