I completely understand that and it happens to me too, just not as often.  I would suggest you keep looking for a psychologist that you like dealing with.  There are psychologists that come at problems from different approaches and you need to find one that works for you.  Once you find one, you need to stick with the treatment.  That isn't to say that the medical approach is wrong, but I think gangtackling the problem from all aspects is the way to cure it or help you live with it.
