Looking bright!
how bright?
really bright!
Just balances out the mix and lures more "on the fence" core gamers to the Wii who arent already there. Its all good
I don't care what people think, my opinion still is that the Wii will have a very sharp decline in the next couple of months, that's what will happen in the future.
Now as for the games you mentioned, it really depends if they sell well or not.

Are you being serious? I'm asking sincerely; I am bad at detecting sarcasm.
Nintendo has a bright future ahead of them. They have always made money on their consoles, that was never a worry for them though they are making tons more now. But now they have more market share and continue to increase that, they have a lot more 3rd parties making games for them and building good relationships with more 3rd parties. They are expanding the VG market by bringing new gamers in that will probably buy another console the next generation, so not only are they doing well but they are helping the industry grow.

Nothing can stop Ninty thats for sure, even all of the core gamers are abandon the Wii(which isnt) the Wii is still selling like hotcakes.
About their future? I think if theres no other third party like Apple to compete with Ninty then the situation will be like the NES monopoly again, but this time instead of stricting third parties, Ninty will freely make the third parties develop games anytime they want even what quality it is...
end of core gaming days prediction:
E3 2006-The beginning of the end. Wii introduced
E3 2008- Armageddon. Wii motion plus introduced. Wii Music. Reggie says Animal crossing was a core game. Massive disappointment. many Wii core gamers selling their Wii.
E3 2010- Tape runs out

Honestly I think Nintendo will pander to casuals since they know thats where the money is. I doubt they will ever go back to just the standard hardware/software developers they were. With the advent of millions selling Brain Ages/ Nintendogs they have no real reason to make the big blockbuster high budget games anymore and all third parties see that as well. I think maybe next gen nintendo might try to integrate casual and hardcore but as for this one they are perfectly happy with the way things are.
