Square-Enix has issued its final bit of pre-E3 press: a detailed lineup of the games it will be exhibiting at the event, which kicks off in earnest on Wednesday, in both playable and video form.

The following games will be present at the show:

Playable

  • Dragon Quest Monsters: Joker (DS)
  • Final Fantasy Tactics: The War of the Lions (PSP)
  • Final Fantasy II (PSP)
  • Final Fantasy XII: Revenant Wings (DS)
  • Front Mission (DS)
  • Heroes of Mana (DS)

    Video only
  • Dragon Quest Swords: The Masked Queen and the Tower of Mirrors (Wii)
  • Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: Ring of Fates (DS)
  • Final Fantasy XI: Wings of the Goddess (PS2, 360, PC)

    Of note in the press release is not only the confirmation of a US release for Front Mission DS, but a release date itself (October 23rd), as well as dates for Heroes of Mana (August 14th), Dragon Quest Monsters: Joker (November 6th), and FFXII: Revenant Wings (November 20th).

    wouldn't they want to at least have a video for FF13? I guess they will wait til next years e3

    Saving it for TGS since FF13 is their big Japan title.

    Plus i expect the USA release of FF13 to come around E3 2008, that leaves them GDC to show it off.

    I thought Final Fantasy Tactics A2 would shurrly be there. Whats up?

    Oh, and with no 13, maybe it's becuase their moving it ot the Wii ;)(j/k)

    yepp, Dragon Quest is selling way more in Japan than Final fantasy.

    Other than that, nothing at all for PS3? I most say that I am clearly surprised.

    EDIT: celb watch the sales number, FF is selling more WW but DQ is way bigger in Japan than FF. (we are talking 3.6 million for DQ against 2.5 for FF)
