WTF!

I don't even understand the point of that commercial, then again I've been confused by every single LBP commercial I've seen. They sure are marketing it, but I wonder if people will even understand it. Hell, I don't understand it and I'm a gamer who frequents this site and has seen all the sackboy bonanza the past few weeks.

If anyone has links to trailers that show actual gameplay I'd love to see it.

Keep in mind that that video is from when the game was first unveiled at GDC07 way back at the beginning of last year, so it's a very early build.

I really don't get it.

Thanks makingmusic, man consoles are finally getting level editors to match the ones on the PC, the ones back in '98, but it's still a HUGE leap forward for consoles.

hmmm, hey I wont pick out names but I think some people conciously want to diss the game by saying that they 'dont know what its about'.

In my opinion LBP has become VERY exposed. NOT knowing what its about at this point is kind of odd.

And now the "catch phrase of the year" nominated statement:

LBP will be HUGE!!!

see.. this is an example of stupid advertising.. someone who hasn't got any idea of what LBP is will have no idea what is going on in those menu interface parts.. actually.. same pretty much applies to those who do know what LBP is.. hopefully this isn't how they fuck its chances of success up

Thanks! I can see why there's so much hype behind the game now...that's really amazing. I probably wouldn't touch the level editor much, but I'd love to see what people create. The game looks really fun. How do you move and and jump though? They mentioned in the beginning that you move both control sticks to move their hands and heads, so how do you actually run around, the D-pad?

Can't wait to see youtube videos of user created levels, it will be like Linerider...
