Not really.  Other than being JRPGs that have many differences(anime art style, real time combat)

nice i might pick the ones on ps2

The game hasn't done that well...

300k is a stretch.

Also, with sales as low as they are, it becomes more of a guesstimate than actual sales. I'm sure it's pretty hard to find data on a game selling 4k units a week in a country with millions of people. I'm not saying the numbers are wrong, but when numbers are that low, take it with a grain of salt.

This.  I'm excited for it and hoping it'll outdo ToS too, but until we get a few more weeks it's hard to tell how the game is doing, besides the fact it has started off slower.  The current sample is too small and unreliable to go by right now.  If the game does remain relatively steady for the next few weeks though, then I'd say start preparing for the crow eating thread.

Also, I know it sucks, but do keep in mind that Famitsu & Media Create are tracking the game lower than VGC (I think).

Soriku, this game will not pass ToS in Japan.

Tag - "No trolling on my watch!"

no it won't get to 300k, probably around 250k-260k. It won't have good legs and it won't have a christmas boost of any significance (games rarely do in Japan).

I still wonder if 250k is considered to be within expectations, it's really hard to judge what the expectations should have been for this game.

currently playing: Skyward Sword, Mario Sunshine, Xenoblade Chronicles X

it depends how much christmas holidays will affect it. But it should be huge in NA, i think it will have legs there

Week 9:   4,201
Week 10: 4,239

Haha, it even went up slightly... Seriously, if these legs hold up... You never know!
