I hope they both do. Good for gamers who enjoy JRPGs if games in the genre are enjoying good sales.

Infinite Undiscoverys poor reviews will count against its total sales but ive got my preorder and look forward to starting it this evening!

IU could still get 500k fairly quickly though as it should sell over 100k in Japan based on how Tales sold. Hopefully LO will also get bit of a boost in Japan as the 360 userbase expands as well. As the userbase passes 750k and starts moving to 1m then Japan will start consistantly posting substantial sales figures for 360 games.

I think WKS, reasons being :

-Will launch in December in Japan, so it will get the holiday boost, and it's launching to a RPG starved community.

-I think that LO's weekly sales will start to dip once IU and ToV get word of mouth. Y buy an old RPG when a new one with alot of hype just released? I do think that LO's weekly sales will increase because of the holiday boost tho.

-The beginning of next year, LO weekly sales will dip alot because of the overshadowing of big games. If I were a 360 owner in the beginning of next year, and I had money to buy 1 or 2 games only, it would be Gears of War 2 and Halo 3.

-As soon as WKS is launched in NA and especially Others (with their bigger installed base than NA), it SHOULD easily breeze to 1 mil.

I dunno, PS3 JRPGs have the advantage that RPG fans that bought a console early went for the PS3 as the XBox became an interesting contender only this year.... so the sales on PS3 may surprise some...

That said I haven't played LO but the word to mouth is hudge and it is high on my list of games to buy (just too many unplayed right now...)

Why do people keep saying things like this about WKS? Do people WANT it to bomb? It's like people keep forgetting that the only Level 5 games made that sell in Japan are Dragon Quest and Layton - everything else has had sales between mediocre and a flop.

Dark Cloud flopped in Japan. Rogue Galaxy had modest sales. Yet, WKS is different and destined for greatness because it has...hype.

WKS would be lucky to do 500k LTD, let alone 1 million...

No its because the PS3 fanboys wish it so. The game is published by Sony so they know its exclusive, so they are pinning their hopes on it. I have no doubt that the game will be excellent, its from Level 5, but I don't think it will hit 1 million. Few RPGs not named FF, DQ, or Tales do.
